What is happening here at creatopia?

Work usually. Occasionally something else happens and this is the place where we tell you about it.

New year, new, er, news.
I have recently completed my first 2 day Adobe Illustrator training session.

I spent many hours creating interesting lesson plans to teach my student (a designer and already an Illustrator user) new skills and concepts.

It went well and hopefully my student has new skills she can use in her day to day work. February 1, 2010

New site update is here.
After plenty of heavy coding the latest version of creatopia.

co.uk is uploaded.
Bigger and better than before we now have client testimonials, social bookmarking integration and plenty of other fun things.
Most testing has been done but there are a few minor adjustments to be made - mostly in IE6 compatibility so if you find somethingh minor it will probably be dealt with shortly. If you notice anything major let us know via the contact page.July 20, 2009

No news is good news.
Things have been relatively busy of late.

We have a couple of good clients whose jobs are nearing completion.
I have been working on some site changes which should be released soon. No major alterations but a couple more tabs in the navigation bar and extra information. I may change this news set-up as well. It was something I quickly knocked up in an evening but I shall move it to its own page and redo it all.
In my spare time I have been writing a full guide to designing and building an in-car PC for another site. It is a large project and no-where near complete yet but if this sort of thing interests you drop me a line through my contacts page.March 18, 2009

New site up and running. You may notice that the pages change every time you visit or refresh them.

If you find a colour you particularly like you can note the colour code listed in the bar at the bottom of the page. I have written the code so colours too light to allow the page to be read easily should not appear. Occasionally one may be generated which falls close to the threshold. If this happens just refresh the page.
The bottom of the page contains random artwork that will change with every refresh. Clicking it will take you to the relevant section. All other pages will bring up larger versions.

If you are browsing this site with Internet Explorer 6 may I suggest upgrading to IE7 or Firefox as this site makes extensive use of transparent png files not supported by IE6. Upgrading will improve your viewing experience.
